Motivation matters here. Nicer, in case you want to rest, have a good time on creative games or refresh on a weekend, a workshop will be a more appropriate choice. It’s lighter. Lower pressure. You might leave behind happy and not feel that you have abandoned something. There comes a point in the line when in contemplating teaching, or leadership of a group of people, or becoming a representative of your profession; a certification course begins to make logical sense.
Another factor is feedback. Rapid and informal advice is given at workshops. One looks behind, gives an advice, goes. The certification programs are also improved. You are bound to make straight choices, fashions come and go. It does not devote its attention to everyone, but one is startled to his senses.
It is time investment and price based. Larger and cheaper workshops. The certification programs are time consuming and preparation based. Of course, the other is not superior to this. They play various seasons.
