CPR certifications are helpful when it comes time to save an employee from a cardiac emergency. Hands-Only CPR can be used by anyone untrained or incompetent to perform CPR. It usually involves calling 911 while compressing the chest 100 compressions per minute, until professional assistance arrives. CPR that is given conventionally involves 30 compressions of the chest after calling 911. It’s more likely to clear the blocked airway.

Both techniques aim to provide timely intervention when the person’s breathing is choking or their heartbeat has stopped. Every second that passes without the right intervention can be dangerous for the patient. CPR certifications can help increase the likelihood of someone’s life.

Find a resource for safety training that is recognized nationally and encourage all employees to take part. It may lead to the creation of a safe and secure work environment for everyone.
